This is my second scotch egg recipe here. I baked the first one and this time l deep fried them. Baking them will be good for people who don’t need too much oil in their diet.
INGREDIENTS:
- I kg of pork sausage
- 1/2 kg mince meat
- I teaspoon salt
- 12 hard boiled egg
- 1 cup of crispy bread crumb
- 3 beaten eggs
- Ginger and garlic paste
- 1 bouillon cube
- 1 onion.
- Vegetable oil.
METHOD:
- Preheat oven 190C
- Boil , peel and keep aside your egg.
- Combine mince meat and pork sausages. Marinate with crushed onion, ginger and garlic paste
- Roll each egg into your meat by using a protection cling wrap and give it a round ball shape
- Coat scotch egg
- Dip each into a beaten egg, then coat with bread crumbs to cover completely.
- Deep fry in vegetable oil with medium heat until done.
- Serve with some salad.
